A strange incident during his unofficial visit to Ohio State has had the Internet buzzing for days about Joey Bosa’s commitment to the Buckeyes.
Wednesday afternoon after a spring practice at St. Thomas Aquinas, one of the nation’s top prospects affirmed he is still headed to Ohio State.
“Everything is okay with Ohio State, 100 percent okay,” the Raiders defensive lineman said. “It’s not their fault. It was just a crazy fan.”
Earlier this week multiple news outlets reported that Pennsylvania linebacker Alex Anzalone decommitted from Ohio State after learning Charles Waugh—a fan he posed with in a picture while visiting Columbus—was a registered sex offender in Kentucky. Bosa and fellow Ohio State visitor Mike Heuerman, a tight end who has verbally committed to Notre Dame, were also in the picture.
