Ohio State Football Recruiting: Buckeyes Hold Advantage for Rising 4-Star RB

Urban Meyer enjoys early commitments as much as the next coach, but a lack of early commitments doesn’t scare him in the least.
Outside of possibly Nick Saban, nobody can flip a recruit better than the new head honcho at “The” Ohio State University.
His 2013 class already has 12 commits, but it’s far from being complete. Meyer worked some magic to land players he wanted/needed last year, but this year he has a full offseason to do what he does best.
One of the things he’ll need to address in Columbus is the running back position, which is typically played by hybrid players in his system.
The 2012 class consisted of only one 4-star back and one 3-star back, and so far this year he’s landed just one 4-star commit at the position in Ezekiel Elliott of St. Louis, Missouri. The Buckeyes also landed Middletown, Ohio athlete Jalin Marshall who is the ideal hybrid player.
