Ohio State Football: What to Expect from the Buckeyes’ Opener Under Urban Meyer

Game week is finally here, and this is a week Ohio State fans have been waiting for since Urban Meyer was hired as head coach on November 28 of last year—two days after OSU’s 40-34 loss to Michigan.
Since then, Ohio State has been banned from the 2012 postseason and lost to Florida once again in a bowl game. After that loss, the sun has been shining on the Buckeyes nonstop outside of a couple of arrests.
A dynamic recruiting class and coaching staff has inspired tremendous optimism along with Meyer’s charisma and resume.
Hardly ever has a season been so anticipated as this year’s endeavor, even though Ohio State won’t get to play for either a Big Ten Championship or a national championship.
