The Program: Why Ohio State Fans Should Get Excited to See Braxton Miller

The talk, essentially since the hire, has been about Urban Meyer changing the Ohio State Buckeyes’ offense. On this episode of The Program we delve into a couple of different looks, both run and pass, that are going to be staples of the Buckeyes’ new attack.
In the pass game you’ll get a taste of not only Miller’s maturation from year one to year two, but we’ll also see how Urban and offensive coordinator Tom Herman use their mobile sophomore. Last year we saw Miller scramble for big gains. This year look for Urban and Herman to put him in situations where run-pass combinations are very prevalent.
Another big, interesting aspect to this move is the run game. Ohio State, out of necessity, used Miller as a running weapon in 2011. Now, with the quarterback run as a focal part of the scheme, look for Miller to be a more exciting player in getting loose on the edge.
Enjoy another episode of The Program as we get into the college football season.
