Ohio State vs. Central Florida Predictions

Urban Meyer’s Ohio State debut lived up to all of the hype. His Buckeyes were dominant last weekend and will try to replicate that success against Central Florida.

What a great start to the Meyer era it was for Buckeyes fans.

The new offense worked wonders in Ohio State’s 56-10 win over Miami of Ohio. Braxton Miller was unstoppable, completing 14-of-24 passes for 207 yards and two touchdown throws and then rushing for 161 yards and another score on 17 carries.

Meyer has previously said that Miller is the most explosive player he’s ever had the pleasure of working with. That’s saying a lot when you consider some of the players he’s coached in the past, but Miller certainly didn’t disappoint in the first week of the season.

Perhaps the Buckeyes will have a tougher fight on their hands when they host UCF this weekend.

Everything went right for the Knights in their easy win over Akron. They gained 386 yards of total offense, only had two penalties called against them, turned it over just once (compared to Akron’s four) and won the time of possession as well.

Blake Bortles was very efficient, hitting on 13-of-16 passes and finishing with 168 yards and three touchdown passes.

The Knights rushing attack was excellent as well. Latavius Murray had 108 yards on 14 carries and a touchdown and as a whole the ground game accounted for 206 yards and an average YPC of 4.5 and four total scores.

As good as UCF performed last weekend, it looks like Ohio State Buckeyes will be the right way to go with your college football picks.

Meyer is not messing around at all and we can expect many more blowout wins to come under his watch. Another this weekend seems quite likely.
