Ohio State Football: Braxton Miller Looks Like Tim Tebow Through 2 Games

The first time I watched Braxton Miller play, I said he reminded me a lot of a young Donovan McNabb. Through two games this season, he’s looking more like Tim Tebow.  Before anyone takes that as an insult, I’m referring to Tebow on the college level. During Tebow’s tenure at Florida, he established himself as one of the greatest college football players in history.

Obviously, Miller has a long way to go before he could even be mentioned in that sentence, but the style by which he’s attained success in this young season is Tebow-esque.  Urban Meyer may be the perfect coach to get the best out of Miller on the collegiate level. This was the case for Tebow in Florida as well.

On Saturday, the Buckeyes defeated Central Florida 31-16. Miller ran for 141 yards and three touchdowns on a whopping 27 carries. At first glance at the box score, a person could momentarily wonder: “Who is this new running back for the Bucks named Miller?”
