As many of you know and have read, when I recently spoke with the likes of Archie Griffin, John Hicks, Randy Gradishar, Doug Donley and Tom Skladany, they all identified the lifelong teammates they met and their time at Ohio State as the greatest time of their lives.
One of the things that has amazed me throughout the years at Ohio State is the intense loyalty and camaraderie of all the members of The Ohio State Football Varsity “O” Alumni Association. While there is not a significant change in those members attributes from year to year, I do believe it usually takes some time for recent graduates to realize the lifelong value of Varsity “O”.
As Varsity “O” members, we take tremendous pride and enjoyment by staying in touch with our “teammates for life” and banding together to help other Varsity “O” members in need.
