Braxton Miller Taken to Hospital, Backup QB Kenny Guiton Leads Ohio State To OT Win

Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller left Saturday’s game against Purdue in Q3 and was transported to the hospital after being taken down hard after a long run. Braxton Miller, was thrown to the turf by cornerback Josh Johnson and the end of the 3rd quarter.  In obvious pain, Miller didn’t get up for several minutes. He sat up, then stood on shaky legsbefore he was led to the sidelines. He was later taken to the locker room by cart.

Ohio State officials asked for a stretcher, and Miller was then taken to Ohio State Wexner Medical Center on campus.

There still hasn’t been any indication of what his injury is.

Backup QB Kenny Guiton took over at quarterback for the Buckeyes, who won 29-22 in overtime. He completed 6-of-11 passes for 77 yards, with one touchdown pass and an interception looking stellar for the Buckeyes in his limited play this season.

Miller was 9-of-20 passes for 113 yards with an interception and ran for 47 yards on 12 carries before leaving the game.
