It sure is a bad season for the Ohio State Buckeyes to be ineligible for the post season. They are currently 12-0 on the season and going strong. As the 10th ranked rushing team in the nation, they have managed the 21st most points scored in the entire NCAA. Their defense is not shabby either, coming in 33rd ranked with only an average of 22 points scored against them with each passing game. All things considered, they should be lining their trophy cases with winnings at the end of this season.
But alas, they will not be eligible for the post season because of league sanctions on the team. Basically, they will be using this year as one big practice game to get them ready for next season. They are practicing very well as it stands and still have an outside chance of finishing number 1 ranked overall in the entire nation. While they have some tough conference games coming up that could see them lose their perfect record on the season, the Buckeyes will surely play strong and look to finish the year as the premiere undefeated team in the nation. While they will not be allowed to make it to the post season, it will be a point of pride among the players and the coaches to show the NCAA that they are players in the league and will continue to sit atop not only their conference but the entire league for years to come. They have become one of the most feared teams in all of the NCAA.
As it stands, the college football odds should always be in the Ohio State Buckeyes favor for the rest of the season and many more to come. They are just that good of a team and will continue to be for years and years to come.
