What 4-Star Trey Johnson Means to Ohio State

Trey Johnson is one of the best pursuit linebackers in the 2013 class. Johnson is a quick inside man that sheds blocks well and tracks the ball carrier with consistency.  He is best inside the tackle box, but to survive at the next level he will need to add weight to his 6’2”, 218-lb frame. Johnson was once an Auburn commitment, but flipped to Ohio State.  In his senior season Johnson recorded 139 total tackles, 94 of which were solo, three sacks and one interception. He averaged 13.9 tackles per game.  Look for Johnson to challenge for immediate playing time on special teams and at linebacker. According to the 247Sports.com Composite rating Johnson is the No. 3 inside linebacker, the No. 12 player in Georgia and the No. 120 player in the country overall.   Watch as Bleacher Report National Analyst Marc Kohn breaks down Johnson’s game and tells you what he will be bringing in 2013.
