Ohio State is being proactive in going after offensive linemen from the class of 2014. The Buckeyes’ most recent offer is to junior college prospect Chad Mavety (Garden City, N.Y./Nassau Community College). Mavety becomes the 20th tackle from the 2014 recruiting class and the 22nd lineman overall offered by the school. “That offer’s a big offer because as a young kid, all you do is dream about going to a big-time school or playing for a national powerhouse,” Mavety said.
