Ohio State adds four-star WR Clark

Ohio State’s receiving unit just became better. A late addition to the Buckeyes, James Clark (New Smyrna Beach, Fla./New Smyrna Beach) picked Ohio State Wednesday over the likes of Florida and Clemson.

Clark made his last official visit to Columbus, Ohio, and became the third four-star wide receiver to join the Buckeyes in the last week, joining Dontre Wilson (DeSoto, Texas/DeSoto) and Corey Smith (Akron, Ohio/East Mississippi Community College).

As a senior, Clark finished the season with 49 catches for 1,112 yards and added eight touchdowns.

What it means for Ohio State: With the commitment of Clark, Ohio State landed an elusive, playmaking wide receiver who certainly has a chance to impact a position that was one of need in the 2013 recruiting class. He also joins four-star teammates Corey Smith and Dontre Wilson as well as Jalin Marshall in what could be a solid unit for years to come.
