Ohio State’s offense had one fatal flaw in 2012, despite being a top-20 scoring offense. It lacked a game-breaker outside of Braxton Miller.
In the 2013 class, reinforcements are on the way en masse in a class with plenty of talented offensive players to give Miller some support.
While the class is very balanced with some help coming at every position, there’s no mistake that game-breaking skill players were at the top of Urban Meyer’s wish list. All he did to help that was bring in several offensive stars including WR Jalin Marshall and RB/WR Dontre Wilson.
Ezekiel Elliott has been wavering and could change his mind, but keeping him would give the Buckeyes three great speedsters.
In Marshall and Wilson, they have two players who can break the big play anytime they get the football. And having a coach in Meyer who prioritizes to get his playmakers several touches a game in different ways will only give them more of a chance to impact a football game.
