Ohio State Football: Buckeyes Must Land State’s Top Prospect Marshon Lattimore

Marshon Lattimore is one of the top high school prospects in Ohio going into the 2013 football season.  At 6’, 175 pounds, Scout.com lists him as the No. 2-ranked receiver in their early rankings for the class of 2014 prospects.
Lattimore attends Glenville High School in Cleveland, Ohio, a pipeline school that has been kind to the Buckeyes through the years.  Donte Whitner, Troy Smith and Ted Ginn Jr., along with a handful of current players on Ohio State’s roster, all played at Glenville before becoming Buckeyes, and Lattimore could be next in line.
Lattimore doesn’t just play receiver though. The kid is dynamic enough to be a star at defensive back—heck, he could even play a little of both in college. 
Over the weekend, he attended the Best of the Midwest combine in Indianapolis, where he was named the top performer by 247sports.  There, he recorded a 40 time of 4.48 and a pro-agility shuttle time of 4.17.
