Richmond came back from slow starts in both halves to earn a 73-64 home victory over George Washington on Wednesday and win its third game in a row. George Washington broke a 5-5 tie with 11 straight points, but Richmond came back to tie the game at 36 in a first half most notable for the number of whistles. The Colonials (12-14, 6-7 A-10) were called for 17 fouls before halftime, with the Spiders being whistled for 12. The Colonials began the second half on a 12-3 run, but Richmond (17-11, 7-6) came back to tie it at 55 and then finished the game on an 18-9 run to win it. Cedrick Lindsay led the Spiders with 19 points and Greg Robbins had 15. Darien Brothers had 12 points, but continued his slump from long range by going 1-for-5 from beyond the arc. Kevin Larson paced the Colonials with 16 points. Lasan Kromah struggled off the bench, going 1 for 7 from the field and turning the ball over seven times.
