COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State Buckeyes will conclude their 2013 spring drills with the LiFESports Spring Game, presented by Nationwide Insurance, Saturday, April 13 at 1 p.m. at Paul Brown Stadium. More than 26,000 tickets have been sold to the game so far.
Tickets – $12 for general reserved seats and $5 for ages 2-6 with children under the age of 2 admitted free – can be purchased online, charge by phone at 1-800-745-3000, in person at the Athletics Ticket Office in the Schottenstein Center, or at any Ticketmaster location. Day of Game Ticket Sales
Tickets will be sold day-of-game at Paul Brown Stadium. Ticket windows will be the North Ticket Office between Gates B and C.
The Spring Game
The game will be an intrasquad scrimmage consisting of four quarters. Similar to last year, there won’t be kickoffs as each possession after a score will start on the 35. Punts will be fair caught. The quarterbacks will be protected, but otherwise it will be a full contact affair. Scarlet and Gray teams will be chosen the end of next week.
Paul Brown Stadium is a fine venue for a football game. Home of the Cincinnati Bengals, situated on the Ohio River and featuring views of the Cincinnati skyline, the facility has a seating capacity of 66,319. And every seat is a chair back seat. Concession stands in this pro stadium will be open.
But For Ohio State:
The spring game in Cincinnati will also serve as a kickoff for a series of events in the area as part of the university’s “But for Ohio State: The Campaign for The Ohio State University.” Through the campaign, Ohio State intends to raise $2.5 billion to sustain and advance an institution that changes lives.
Buckeye Bash
The Ohio State University Alumni Association will help to create a game day atmosphere on the plaza outside of Paul Brown Stadium with a Buckeye Bash from 11 a.m. to noon. Free and open to the public, the bash will include music from the marching band, Brutus Buckeye and the cheerleaders.
Free Admission for Ohio State Students
Ohio State students with a valid BuckID will be admitted into the game for free. The student entrance is Gate E, located on the Southeast side of Paul Brown Stadium, and seating will be in sections 151-158.

Directions: A quick-and-easy guide to getting to Paul Brown Stadium …
- From I-75N/I-71N: North to the 2nd or 5th Street exit; follow traffic police to desired parking lot;
- From I-75 South: South to the Freeman Ave. exit; south on Freeman; left on Mehring Way; follow signs;
- From I-71 South: South to Gilbert Ave./Riverfront Parking exit or 3rd Street/Downtown Parking exit; follow signs and traffic police; and
- From I-471: Take 471 north to west US 50/I-75; take 3rd Street exit and go west on 3rd; follow traffic police to desired lot.
Disability Parking: Parking for handicapped patrons is in Lot 1, located at the corner of Pete Rose Way and Central Avenue.
Gates Open: Gates into Paul Brown Stadium will open at 11:30 a.m. Once in the stadium there will be no exiting and re-entering. Medical emergencies are the only exception.
Lost and Found: Found items should be turned into the Fan Information Booth at Gates A and D. Call 513-455-4850 for lost items.
Parking: There is plenty of public parking around the stadium. Cost to park is $10.
Radio Broadcast: WBNS 97.1 FM The Fan, the flagship station for the IMG Ohio State sports radio network, will broadcast the game live with Paul Keels and Jim Lachey describing all of the action. Network affiliate WDJO AM-1480 out of Cincinnati will also carry the live radio broadcast.
Tailgating: Tailgating is permitted in the parking lots surrounding the stadium.
TBDBITL: The Ohio State University Marching Band will be at the game. Under the direction of Jon Waters, members of the band will play at the pregame Buckeye Bash, which is free to the public and starts at 11 a.m., and it will also play at halftime of the game.
Television Broadcasts: There is no live broadcast of the game. The Big Ten Network will televise the game on a tape delay basis at 7 p.m. Saturday evening, April 13. Eric Collins and Glen Mason will be in the booth with Ashley Ignelzi providing sideline commentary.
