When reached via text message, Malik Jefferson (Mesquite, Texas/Poteet) didn’t have much to say about his offer from Ohio State. Then again, the exclamation point said plenty. With assistant coach Tom Herman still recruiting in Texas, the 6-foot-2, 212-pound outside linebacker found out he had an offer from Ohio State. And it certainly resonated with the standout sophomore. “Its an honor for a school like that to offer me!” he said.
