OSU finally offers another quarterback

It took 291 days, but it finally happened. Ohio State pulled the trigger on another quarterback from the Class of 2014. After offering ESPN 150 Deshaun Watson (Gainesville, Ga./Gainesville) on July 14, the Buckeyes seemingly went into hiding in offering another quarterback. Now there’s a second and his name is Kyle Allen (Scottsdale, Ariz./Desert Mountain), an ESPN 150 member ranked 128th overall and fifth at his position. Allen confirmed the offer via text message Wednesday afternoon, and his coach, Tony Tabor, did as well in an e-mail.
