Ohio State Football: Braxton Miller Is Fast, but How Fast?

College football fans didn’t need to watch much of the Ohio State Buckeyes in 2012 to realize that quarterback Braxton Miller is very fast.

Of course, he has never claimed to be as fast (or faster) than Usain Bolt, like former Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson did last year. Miller hasn’t proven to be the kind of guy who talks about his own measurables or accomplishments.

Urban Meyer and Ohio State aren’t as shy.

George Whitfield Jr., the quarterback guru with whom Miller trained this offseason, is in Columbus this week and toured the Buckeyes’ facilities yesterday. He spent a good chunk of his afternoon posting pictures of motivational signs, the team’s 2013 schedule and the homage to the Buckeyes’ 2012 undefeated season as he walked through the Woody Hayes Athletic Center.

Arguably the most interesting picture he posted, though, was a display that featured the fastest Buckeyes and their reported 40-yard dash times:
