Se’Von Pittman lands at Akron after leaving Ohio State (NBC Sports)

Three months after “parting ways” with Ohio State, Se’Von Pittman has decided to continue his playing career at another FBS program in his home state.

Canton (Ohio) McKinley High School official Charles Quincy has confirmed to the Canton Repository that the defensive end has decided to transfer to Akron and play football for the Zips.  While Akron has yet to officially confirm the addition of Pittman to the roster, Bill Greene of Scout.com reports that “everything is approved and done.”

“It’s a good fit for him,” Quincy told the Repository. “Here’s a young man, a Division I player, and I’m glad he gets the opportunity to go play Division I again. That’s a good feeling.”
