CPD Says Much of Hyde Reporting is Wrong, Talks Misdemeanor Crime

Columbus Police Sgt. Rich Weiner, who serves as the public information officer, told 610 WTVN in story released today,  “It’s been reckless up to this point.” Everybody seems to have a source and they’re going with it. They think that whatever their source is telling them is gospel. Be careful because the investigation is ongoing.”

A few interesting points came from the story which can be read in full here.

First off, he says they still have not interviewed the woman or Hyde.  Also he said “We’re talking about a misdemeanor crime here. There won’t be any felony as far as the facts are concerned.”

We’re all hoping for a resolution to this matter but it looks like we’ll have some waiting to do.
