Mekka Don’s official Ohio State football anthem “Juice” has had fans, players, and Buckeyes nationwide energized all season. With Ohio State basketball season around the corner Mekka Don has a new officially licensed song to get Buckeye Nation pumped and ready to go as Thad Matta and the Buckeyes begin their annual chase for a Big Ten and National championship.
“We obviously have a historic football tradition at Ohio State but we’re often overlooked for being the basketball powerhouse that we are. Thad has done an incredible job building the program into an annual national contender, while also developing several NBA players,” says Mekka Don. “The atmosphere at the Schottenstein is so unique – from the fans who spend cold winter nights before games camped out in tents at ‘Mattaritaville,’ to the ferocious energy of the students in the appropriately named ‘Buckeye Nut House,’ and the exciting brand of basketball our team plays. I wanted to capture and harness that energy with ‘Go Nuts,’ and I believe Buckeye Nation will enjoy this hype song.”
The song, which is an officially licensed Ohio State product, can be heard before all home games at the Schottenstein Center this season. A new line of “Go Nuts” t-shirts will be released with Ohio State’s single source licensing partner J. America in the coming weeks. Multi platinum producer, Davion “DBottz” Botts, produced the song, which is now available for sale via http://shop.mekkadon.com as well as ITunes and Amazon.
