College football rankings: Ohio State up to 18 in Coaches Poll Top 25

The Buckeyes moved up a few spots in the Coaches Poll after their impressive win over in-state foe Cincinnati.

Ohio State found themselves rising in the ranks of the college football world on Sunday morning, as the Buckeyes rose to No. 18 in the Amway Coaches Poll Top 25. Ohio State was ranked 20th last week, but clearly impressed voters enough to move up slightly in the rankings after a record setting Saturday. With the AP Top 25 yet to be released, look for the Buckeyes to make another rise later on today.

With J.T. Barrett and the offensive line looking much improved, and Ezekiel Elliott playing the best game of his young career up to this point, voters have to be liking what the Buckeyes have produced in the past three weeks. With the Big Ten slate coming up this week against Maryland, Ohio State will have plenty on the line as they try and get back into the hunt for the College Football Playoff.
