Luke Witte to speak at The Chapel in Marlboro

The Rev. Luke Witte, Marlington High School and Ohio State Buckeyes basketball star, will be the featured speaker at The Chapel in Marlboro’s 2015 Men and Boys’ Annual Sauerkraut Dinner at 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 26. After graduating from Ohio State in 1973, Witte continued playing basketball for the Cleveland Cavaliers. He also played several seasons overseas in the European League. Upon retirement, he studied and graduated from the Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Ky. Witte and his wife, Donita, live in Charlotte, N.C., where he works for Marketplace Chaplains, overseeing 65 chaplains that minister to 8,000 employees. Dinner tickets are $10. For those who would rather not eat but want to hear Witte’s presentation, there is no cost. His presentation will begin at approximately 7:30 p.m. in the main sanctuary of the church…
