Seven Buckeyes among top 50 eligible for 2016 NFL draft

Updated MAY 14, 2015 11:46a ET Could Ohio State have more players drafted in the top 50 next spring than it had in the entire 2015 draft? Scout.com seems to believe so. Seven Buckeyes made the site’s early rankings for next year, a group led by No. 1 overall prospect Joey Bosa, a defensive end who was a consensus All-American last season. Next is Taylor Decker, rated No. 25 overall and fourth among offensive tackles. Ezekiel Elliott is No. 29 overall and the top running back while Cardale Jones is 32nd overall and No. 4 among running backs. Adolphus Washington gives Ohio State a second defensive lineman in the top 50 overall. He is No. 41 overall and the No. 7 defensive end (though he plays tackle for the Buckeyes).
