Former Buckeye/NFL Star to Make Tecumseh Appearance

Posted Sunday, May 17th 2015 @ 3pm A former Ohio State Football and NFL star will be appearing at the June 19th performance of the Outdoor Drama Tecumseh. James Cotton, a former All American Lineman with the Ohio State Buckeyes, will be on hand to sign autographs and accept donations for his most recent endeavor, Buck-Icon LLC, which works to provide resources for former members of the Ohio State football program to enhance their careers and transition into professional life. Their mission is also to become a premier professional and collegiate sports apparel and merchandise retailer. In 1999, Cotton was voted by his coaches as the Buckeyes’ Most Outstanding Lineman by leading the team in sacks and tackles for loss. As a junior, he was an instrumental part of the Buckeyes’ Big Ten Championship and Sugar Bowl Victories over Michigan & Texas A&M in 1998. He was later drafted into the NFL by the Chicago Bears where he played 8 years of professional football with stops with the Atlanta Falcons and the Buffalo Bills.
