According to Rivals.com, wide receivers coach Zach Smith and cornerbacks coach and special teams coordinator Kerry Coombs are the reasons for Mack’s commitment. He was even at my commitment, which is not what a head coach does often. “He and Coach Smith being here, it shows how real the relationship is. Their academics fit great and will help me get to where I want to end up. The campus is beautiful, everything about it was right. I’m going to enjoy my time there.” The high school junior from South Bend, Ind., was ranked as the top player out of the state by Rivals.com, as well as the No. 43 receiver and No. 208 overall player.
