Ohio State doesn’t start practice for the 2015 season until August, but that doesn’t mean football is on the back burner. Recruiting is in full swing in Columbus, and the biggest name of the week looks to be defensive tackle Rashan Gary. The Paramus Catholic (New Jersey) standout is in Columbus on June 25 taking a look at coach Urban Meyer’s program, according to ESPN’s Tom VanHaaren. Gary (6-foot-4, 311 pounds) is ranked as a five-star player by recruiting services and is considered by some to be the top recruit in the class of 2016. Reports state Gary is also scheduled to visit with Michigan and Auburn this week. Advertisement Ohio State has 16 verbal commitments for the class of 2016.
