(WHNT) — The Alabama football team and its supporters are still reeling six months after the Tide’s loss to Ohio State in the Sugar Bowl. Most of the fans at SEC Media Days in Hoover came out support the Tide as the team embarks on another new season, but a couple wanted to make sure Alabama did not forget that semifinal game. “We wanted to let them know who the national champions are and who’s the best team in college football,” said Buckeye fan Jeff Moorer. Moorer and his buddy, James Rivers, were the only two sporting scarlet and gray in a sea of crimson-clad fans. At first glance, they were hard to pick out of the crowd in the hotel lobby, that is, until they spoke. “The only reason that ‘Bama won their last title in 2012 was because Ohio State was on probation,” exclaimed Moorer. The two were visibly frustrating for the Crimson Tide fans at the Wynfrey Hotel, but for the Alabama players, they are used to their presence having a polarizing effect. “We definitely have a lot of fans and a lot of haters, whatever way you try to phrase it,” said Tide running back Kenyan Drake…
