Updated JUL 22, 2015 1:27p ET As the offseason wears on, some fans of Ohio State and Michigan apparently took it upon themselves to help pass a little more time before the Buckeyes and Wolverines tangle on the football field again. WTVG TV in Toledo reports couples on the Jet Express — advertised as the only ferry to offer late-night weekend service off Put-in-Bay in northern Ohio — got into a fight that escalated from harsh words to balled fists before police could intervene. The owner of the Jet Express did not sound surprised such an incident occurred. “It happens,” Todd Blumensaadt told WTVG. “They get very passionate about their teams.” (H/T 13abc.com)
