VOTE: Who should start vs. Virginia Tech? Jones or Barrett?

COLUMBUS, Ohio – We are inside of 25 days until the Buckeyes face the Virginia Tech Hokies in the 2015 season opener.

But there’s a big question that Urban Meyer has to answer: Who should start at quarterback for the Buckeyes?

The choices are J.T. Barrett and Cardale Jones.

Barrett, a redshirt sophomore, threw for 2,834 yards, 34 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He completed 64.7% of his passes. He also rushed for 938 yards and 11 touchdowns. As a starter, Ohio State went 11-1, with the lone loss coming vs. Virginia Tech. Barrett broke numerous Ohio State records for a quarterback and finished fifth in the 2014 Heisman Trophy voting.

Jones, a redshirt junior, threw for 860 yards, 7 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. He completed 60.9% of his passes. He also rushed for 296 yards and a touchdown. As a starter, Ohio State went 3-0, winning the Big Ten Championship vs. Wisconsin, the College Football Playoff semifinal vs. Alabama and the College Football Playoff Championship Game vs. Oregon.
