RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Washington Redskins closed out training camp in Richmond with one last practice in front of only members of the media and camp volunteers. After the final air horn blew, the Redskins Ambassadors lined up for autographs and pictures. Head Coach Jay Gruden said his second training camp in Richmond was a successful one. “Camp went very well. I think we got a lot accomplished,” Gruden said. “I think we got a lot of young guys some quality repetitions and learned a lot of football, learned a lot about our guys the way they competed every day despite being hot and tired and sore they came out every day and competed.” Meanwhile a day after former Ohio State Buckeye Evan Spencer told 8News his alma mater would set a record this September 7th in Blacksburg for the most points tried to be put up in a game, former Virginia Tech Hokie Kyshoen Jarrett had a response. Both played when the Hokies and Buckeyes matched up in Columbus in 2014. The Hokies won that one at Ohio Stadium, better known as the Horseshoe. “[Spencer] has another thing coming.
