Michigan State football places two players among BIg Ten’s top six as voted by select league media

EAST LANSING β€” Michigan State has two of the top six players in the Big Ten, according to a poll taken among a panel of 35 writers and analysts that cover the league. Athlon Sports put the panel together and tallied the votes, Ohio State placing the other four players among the top six including No. 1-ranked defensive end Joey Bosa. Bosa had 24 of the first-place votes, Buckeyes’ tailback Ezekiel Elliott was No. 2 with seven first-place votes and Spartans quarterback Connor Cook came in at No. 3 with two first-place votes. Athlon noted that no player from a Big Ten West Division team finished among the top 10 players in the voting.
