Ohio State first unanimous No. 1 in preseason AP poll

The defending national champion Ohio State Buckeyes made history in becoming the first unanimous preseason No. 1 in the Associated Press college football poll. Ohio State received all 61 first-place votes from the media panel in the rankings released Sunday. The Buckeyes were No. 5 in the preseason poll last year. TCU is No. 2, followed by Alabama, Baylor and Michigan State. The rest of the top 10 is Auburn, Oregon, USC, Georgia and Florida State. Notre Dame is No. 11, followed by Clemson, UCLA, LSU, Arizona State, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Stanford, Arizona, Boise State, Missouri and Tennessee.
