Defending national champion Ohio State will open its 2015 slate against the only team it lost to last season: Virginia Tech. The Buckeyes hosted the Hokies in Week 2 last season and lost a 35–21 stunner. But this year, Virginia Tech gets Ohio State at home and will be gunning for another upset. For Ohio State, many familiar faces return. So many, in fact, that Braxton Miller is moving to H-back and J.T. Barrett and Cardale Jones spent the fall battling for the starting quarterback job. Tailback Ezekiel Elliott is also back as a leading Heisman Trophy contender, as are four starters on the offensive line—including a top NFL prospect, tackle Taylor Decker. For the Hokies, quarterback Michael Brewer seeks his second major win over the Buckeyes in as many seasons.
