Ohio State at Virginia Tech In perhaps one of the biggest games in Lane Stadium history, Virginia Tech hosts the defending national champs at 8 p.m. tonight in Blacksburg. WDBJ7 will have special coverage of the game tonight at 5:30 p.m. Last season the Hokies were the only team to beat the Buckeyes. Virginia Tech finished the season with a 7-6 record, but played very well in the Military Bowl in beating Cincinnati. Both teams are wearing ribbons on their helmets to honor WDBJ7’s Adam Ward and Alison Parker, who were shot and killed during a live broadcast Aug. 26. Ward was a Virginia Tech graduate.
