Rainbow Warriors face toughest test of the year against Ohio State

Head coach Urban Meyer still doesn’t have a starting quarterback in mind for Saturday; he played coy with reporters this week, but it’s “pick your poison” for the ‘Bows when it comes to facing either Cardale Jones or J.T. Barrett. “Whoever is in there, we’re looking to stop them,” said senior safety Marrell Jackson. “It doesn’t matter with us. Whatever is dialed up, we’re going to go out there and make it happen.” If Ohio State’s season opener showed U.H. anything, it’s that the Buckeyes most dangerous weapon may be their former quarterback Braxton Miller. “He can play a lot of different positions,” said Hawaii defensive coordinator Tom Mason. …
