ESPN’s Kirk Herbsteit ranks Ohio State Buckeyes No.1 team in country

Kirk Herbstreit announced his top four college football teams early Sunday morning. Once again, the Ohio State Buckeyes remained No.1 on the ESPN analysts list of College Football Playoff potential teams. After watching Michigan State defeat the Oregon Ducks, Herbstreit wasn’t impressed enough with the Spartans to give them the No.4 spot. However, the stage may have been set for a winner take all battle in the Big Ten East. The Buckeyes and the Spartans are headed for a collision course later in the season. Ezekiel Elliott scored three short yardage touchdowns, capping off his 100 yard day for the Buckeyes. While the offense played sporadic football, the Buckeyes’ defense was all over the field.
