Ohio State Football Releases Virginia Tech Highlight Reel

The Ohio State football program released highlights from the Buckeyes’ Labor Day victory over the Virginia Tech Hokies. Why is this a big deal, especially a week after the game was played? Well, the Hawaii win wasn’t much fun to watch–and that’s OK. Ohio State needed to make a statement against the Hokies–and they did. Ezekiel Elliott, Braxton Miller, Cardale Jones and their Buckeye bretheren showed why the OSU entered the season as the unanimous No. 1 ranked team in the country. And besides, what’s wrong at basking in the revenge Ohio State got to hand Frank Beamer and company in front of their home crowd in Blacksburg? OK, back to the Hawaii game. The Buckeyes did pitch a shutout, winning 38-0, but the offense looked a little clunky, as neither Jones or J.T. Barrett could find a rhythm. By only hanging 38 on the Rainbow Warriors, Ohio State actually lost one first-place vote in the coaches poll, and two in the Associated Press poll. …
