Report: OSU leaves UM’s name off its title trophy

Except within the Ohio State football program. That was reinforced today, when cleveland.com posted a photo and story about the Ohio State 2014 national championship trophy, which lists the season’s opponents, locations and the game scores. For the Michigan game, it simply says “TUN,” referring to coach Urban Meyer’s phrasing of the “Team Up North.” During its spring tour of the Big Ten campuses, the Big Ten Network caught a shot of the Ohio State schedule sign, which said much the same. Ohio State lists “National Championship” & “That Team Up North” on 2015 schedule.
