Barrett took over at quarterback in the second quarter for No. 1 Ohio State after Cardale Jones threw two interceptions that helped Northern Illinois build a 10-3 lead Saturday. “J.T. is going to be the starter, and we’re going to go and try to score some points,” Buckeyes coach Urban Meyer told ABC at halftime. Jones was picked off on Ohio State’s first possession on a badly overthrown ball, and the Huskies turned it into a touchdown.
