Ohio State Has QB Issue That Few Saw Coming

Is Ohio State really going to make me dust off the cliched, “if you have two quarterbacks, you have no quarterbacks?” Really?

Kicking off the 2015 season with two quarterbacks who had Heisman-caliber regular seasons each of the previous three campaigns combined — Braxton Miller and J.T. Barrett — and a third quarterback — Cardale Jones — at the helm of arguably the most impressive three-game stretch in college football history, it sure seemed as though Urban Meyer was the exception to the cliche.

We’re all of three games into the season, not exactly panic time, but the Ohio State offense has been stagnant with both Barrett and Jones seeing snaps. The most reliable of the trio has been Miller, and he was moved to a wide receiver/running back hybrid role.

Maybe the cliche became standard for a reason.
