Western Michigan football team enters Ohio State week with something new on its mind – a win

KALAMAZOO, MI – With so many returning players it was almost assumed the Western Michigan football team would pick up where it left off last year. But that wasn’t the case. Many on this year’s team experienced the one-win season in 2013 and then felt the joy of a seven-win turnaround last year. Maybe they assumed the spark would just come back naturally and they would pick up where they left off. An 0-2 start, and especially a lopsided loss at Georgia Southern in week two, opened the Broncos’ eyes that they are still in the unexplored area of learning how to maintain success and handle expectations. “Every year it’s been uncharted water,” junior quarterback Zach Terrell said. “The first year we were terrible and had no experience and couldn’t do anything.
