Ohio State’s Quarterbacks Auditioning All Over Again

You figured this was settled back in August, when all the pieces started to fall into place. When Ohio State came back for camp for the 2015 season, the Buckeyes had three starting quarterbacks. Three legit starting quarterbacks. Braxton Miller, a two-time Big Ten Player of the Year before being injured for all of the 2014 season; J.T. Barrett, who replaced Miller for virtually all of last season and set 19 school and Big Ten records before he too was injured; and Cardale Jones, who took over when Barrett was injured in the Michigan game and all he did was win three postseason games, including the national title. When all three came back for the preseason, Miller decided to switch positions to wide receiver, Jones beat out Barrett for the starting QB job, and all was set. That was last year and last month.
