People have some very high expectations of Ohio State who improved to 4-0 with a 38-12 rout of Western Michigan yet didn’t win ‘big’ enough. The Buckeyes defense shut down a very good Broncos attack with 338 yards allowed while recording a pick six while racking up over 500 yards themselves with plenty of balance. The Hoosiers are coming off of a 31-24 victory at Wake Forest where IU built a 31-10 lead and hung on. The Hoosiers defense isn’t given a lot of praise but held the Demon Deacons to 363 yards and logged a 20 yard pick six Tony Fields. Nate Sudfeld gave the Hoosiers a quality passing attack with a 19-34 performance for 205 yards and a pair of touchdowns with Simmie Cobbs Jr. recording seven receptions for 75 yards a score. Indiana was productive on the ground with 168 yards and a touchdown on 33 carries as the offense did a little of everything.
