But the No. 1 team in the country is going away from its classic look when it hosts Penn State on Oct. 17. Don’t worry, Buckeyes fans, the new uniforms will still prominently feature the color scarlet, most notably with the numbers and helmet stripe. Nike’s press release says the ensemble “characterizes the unyielding confidence of the eight-time national champions.” Ohio State unveils first-ever black Buckeyes uniforms.
