At Big Ten Media Day in Chicago last July, few would’ve predicted that when the calendar flipped to October the marquee Week 5 game would pit top-ranked Ohio State versus Indiana in a battle of unbeatens. But that’s exactly the case as both the Buckeyes and Hoosiers sit at 4-0 heading into Saturday’s 3:30 p.m. clash at a soldout Memorial Stadium in Bloomington, Ind. Ohio State is 4-0 for the first time since 2013, while Indian hasn’t won its first four games to start a season since 1990. The Buckeyes are riding the nation’s longest winning streak at 17 games, while the Hoosiers’ five-game winning streak is the program’s longest since 1987. Ohio State and Indiana are squaring off as undefeated teams for the first time since 1942 when both teams were 1-0. Ohio State leads the all-time series, 70-12-5. Indiana is 0-15 versus top-ranked teams all-time. Ohio State has won 19 consecutive games over the Hoosiers since losing in 1988 in Bloomington.
