Of course, everyone also knows no running back can put up all those yards alone, and OSU lineman Billy Price explained Monday just why Elliott and his blockers work so well together. “He’s patient,” Price said while meeting with reporters to talk about last week’s game and preview the Buckeyes’ game against Maryland. “He lets us do the dirty work and then it makes it easy for him, so he kind of understands us and I think that’s why we have such chemistry with him specifically.” Price also addressed why the offense has been prone to some major ups and downs early this season. “We’re still a work in progress,” he admitted. “Nothing too to major, not like we were last year at this point in time. Last year at this point in time (it was), ‘Who are these guys?’, you know, ‘Get rid of the left guard,’ ‘The center’s too small,’ this that and the other. “I really think that this year we’re established, we know what we’re doing, we have confidence which is a separation from this year than last year so we’ve just got to keep going.” true [embedded content]
