Ohio State Football has found an answer at QB

Ohio State Football faces another shake up this week that will ultimately lead to more media controversy. Head Coach Urban Meyer announced J.T. Barrett as the starting quarterback heading into Saturday’s matchup with Rutgers. Surpassing previous starter Cardale Jones, Barrett looks promising to lead the Buckeyes to another victory in the next part of their fight for back-to-back national titles. Jones was an astonishing 10-0 as a starter before being benched this weekend and had a total quarterback rating of 141.2. Despite having above-average statistical output, Jones had shown signs of struggle including overthrowing his targets, having questionable reads, and being inaccurate overall on passing routes. Only in Columbus could an undefeated starting quarterback somehow end up benched, but Urban Meyer is making the best decision for a team on a promising journey towards another title.
