1. Ohio State (8-0, 4-0) Now this is the Ohio State we were expecting all season. The Buckeye rolled Rutgers 49-7 thanks in part to switching from Cardale Jones to J.T. Barrett at quarterback. Barrett completed 14 of his 18 passes for 223 yards and three touchdowns. I said the Buckeyes would be cursed for benching Jones, who’s 10-0 as a starter, but it appears I was wrong. 2. Michigan State (8-0, 4-0) The Spartans’ offense had an impressive showing on Saturday as well. After letting Indiana hang around (just like OSU did), Michigan State scored 24 unanswered in the fourth quarter to win 52-26. Connor Cook threw for 398 yards and four scores. …
